Jay-Z Claims He’s Not Going to Say “Bitch” Anymore
Today I heard that Jay-Z has given up saying “bitch”. No joking. It’s gonna be “99 problems but jock itch ain’t one.” Well, probably not, but you get the point. Hova’s vow to discontinue this oft derogatory term is currently number 74 on Billboard’s R&B/Rap chart (Which makes his daughter the youngest person ever to enter a Billboard 100 chart)
I listened to the song, reaffirmed my lack of maternal instinct, and started thinking about when Jay boycotted Chris Brown at the VMAs. He’s even started to wax feminist on the ignominious ‘99 hit, “Big Pimpin’” … well sorta? Anyway, I want to sit with him and read “Women, Race, and Class”, and maybe he’ll be ready for that some day soon.
